Tim Johnson’s five favourite Christmas feeds

Tim Johnson knows a thing or two about good food as the co-founder of Queensland restaurant hot spots, Comuna Cantina and Corbett and Claude, so we decided to ask him which feeds he’s most looking forward to this Christmas: 

Mum’s roast turkey with bread and cranberry sauce, side of roast veggies and chipolatas!   

Because our family has had this every year for as long as I remember. No matter if it’s 40 degrees outside, it’s always the traditional English roast. Mum sweats it out in the kitchen all day (and the week before) to make it perfect and it’s gone in a few minutes! Haha She’s still my favourite cook! 
 

Mum’s trifle 

For the same reasons as the roast - it’s soft and creamy and just reminds me so much of family time at Christmas.  

Glazed leg ham 

Because it’s delish and lasts for a week! 

Christmas mixed nuts 

Because I only eat macadamia nuts at Christmas for some reason haha. 

Advent Calendar chocolates 

For some reason, the temptation and having to wait all day for a tiny chocolate makes them taste so good!
